is from a probably natural cross between the varieties Cabernet Franc
emerged. However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see under molecular Genetics
). The variety is only in small quantities in the area Cotes de Bordeaux
grown. In 2010, however, no stocks were shown in the official statistics.
