The red grape variety (also M-43) is a new breed between Cabernet Franc x Zweigelt, The cross was made in 1975 by the breeder Lubomír Glos in Moravská Nová Ves in Moravia. The variety protection was granted in 2001. The late-ripening, productive vine is resistant to Botrytis, It produces dark-colored, aromatic red wines with aromas Cassis, as well as storage potential. The variety is in Czech Republic mainly grown in Moravia. In 2010, 212 hectares were recorded here.
