Canella

The white grape variety (also Kanella) comes from Cyprus, The name derives from "cinnamon" for unknown reasons ( cinnamon ). The variety was from the Cypriot oenologist Akis Zambartas rediscovered. There may be a relationship to the variety Morocanella, It is grown in small quantities and used in blends. In 2010, however, no stock was reported (Kym Anderson ).
