Canepa

The winery is located in the municipality of Cerillos (a suburb of Santiago de Chile) in Chile. It was founded in 1930 by the Italian immigrant José Canepa. The estate covers over 1,000 hectares in the wine-growing areas of Rapel(Colchagua), Curicó and Maipo. The red wine varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, Malbec (Cot), Merlot, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Syrah, Tempranillo and Zinfandel are cultivated, as well as the white wine varieties Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and Viognier. The quality pyramid consists of the Varietals, Winemaker's Selection, Private Reserve, Finísimo and Magnificum lines.
