Carbonneau Alain

The French oenologist Prof. Dr. Alain Carbonneau graduated from the university in 1971 Montpellier (Languedoc-Roussillon) the title of engineer agronomist and received his doctorate at the University of Bordeaux in 1980 oenology, From 1993 to 2009 he held a chair in viticulture at the university department "École Nationale Supérieur Agronomique" in Montpellier. His research focus was in the areas education forms with the one he developed Lyra education system and Canopy management, as well as the effects of microclimate and physiology of the vine on the wine quality. From 1972 to 1992 he was a research assistant at the INRA in Bordeaux. Carbonneau wrote two books and published over 400 publications.
