Carbonneau Alain

The French oenologist Prof. dr. Alain Carbonneau graduated from the university in 1971 Montpellier (Languedoc-Roussillon) the title of Ingénieur Agronome and received his doctorate in 1980 at the University of Bordeaux in oenology, From 1993 to 2009 he held a department of viticulture at the university department "École Nationale Supérieur Agronomique" in Montpellier. His research interests were in the areas of education forms with the one developed by him Lyra education system and Canopy Management, as well as the effects of microclimate and physiology of the vine on the quality of the wine. From 1972 to 1992 he was a research associate of INRA in Bordeaux. Carbonneau authored two books and published over 400 publications.
