, It is named after the castle of the same name, which was restored at the end of the 19th century. The southwest-facing vineyards at 100 to 230 meters above sea level have 45 to 60% slope. The Hangfuß is only 150 meters above sea level from the Rhine. Riesling is mainly cultivated here. Castle and location are the sole possession of the pharmaceutical entrepreneur Werner Siekmann; the vineyards are leased to a group of Kauber winemakers.
