DOC area (also Affile) for red wine in the Italian region of Latium. The zone includes the complete municipalities of Affile and Roiate, as well as a sub-area of Arcinazzo Romano in the province of Roma. The wine is made from Cesanese (to. 90%), as well as other approved varieties (max. 10%). There are also the wine types Dolce and a longer matured Riserva. Two other Cesane areas are Cesanese del Piglio (DOCG) and Cesanese di Olevano Romano (DOC).
