DOC area (also Affile) for red wine in the Italian region Lazio, The zone includes the entire municipalities of Affile and Roiate, as well as a section of Arcinazzo Romano in the province of Roma. The wine is made Cesanese (90%), as well as other approved varieties (max. 10%). There are also the Dolce wine types and a longer-aged one Riserva, There are two other Cesanese areas Cesanese del Piglio (DOCG) and Cesanese di Olevano Romano (DOC).
