Important research and training institute for viticulture and oenology in Wagga Wagga (New South Wales) in Australia. The university was named after the English explorer and explorer Charles Napier Sturt (1795-1869). The first teaching was started in 1976. The university was then created in 1989 by the merger of several institutes. One department is the "School of Wine and Food Sciences", in which one can obtain the title of "Bachelor of Applied Science" in viticulture or oenology. In 1997 the "Wine and Grape Industry Centre" was established at the University, where research projects for the optimisation of wine industry processes are carried out and services are offered. For other important institutions related to viticulture, see AWRI and CSIRO.
For me, Lexicon from wein.plus is the most comprehensive and best source of information about wine currently available.
