The winery is located on the plateau de la Magdeleine in the area Saint-Emilion
(Bordeaux). Owner is Viscount Patrick de Lesquen. The farm is classified as "Grand Cru Classé", which was last confirmed in 2012. The vineyards cover nine hectares of vineyards, with the varieties Merlot (70%), Cabernet Franc (25%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) are planted. The long-lived red wine is aged for 18 months in one-third new barrels. The second wine is called "Les Ailes de Berliquet".
