Château Cadet-Piola

The winery on the plateau Calcaire north of Saint-Emilion (Bordeaux) was named after a former mayor of Libourne. Since 1952 it was owned by the family Jabiol. The vineyards covered seven hectares of vineyards with Merlot (51%), Cabernet Sauvignon (28%), Cabernet Franc (18%) and Malbec (3%). The company was classified in 2006 as "Grand Cru Classé". The second wine was called "Chevaliers de Malte" (Maltese Knight). In 2009 Château Cadet-Piola was sold to the insurance group "AG2R La Mondiale"; The last vintage under this name was produced in 2011. From 2012, the vineyards were part of Château Soutard,
