Château Capbern-Gasqueton

The winery is located in the municipality Saint-Estèphe or the same area in Médoc (Bordeaux). In the Bordeaux Classification According to the old system, which is no longer valid, it was last classified as "Cru Bourgeois" in 2003. It is owned by the Capbern-Gasqueton family, who also owned the Château Calon-Ségur heard. It is headed by Madame Gasqueton. The vineyards consist of two parts in the municipalities of Calon-Ségur and Meyney. They cover 35 hectares of vineyards and are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (35%) and Cabernet Franc (15%). The long-lived red wine matures in 24% new barriques for up to 24 months. The second wine is called "Le Grand Village Capbern".
