The winery is located in the eponymous community of Aydie in the area Madiran
in the region Southwest France
, It is owned by the Laplace family. The vineyards cover 65 hectares. A special feature are some very old vines from before phylloxera
, The Madiran red wine "Frédéric Laplace", named after an ancestor, is cuvéet made from 60% tannate and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. There are also dry and sweet white wines under the AC Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh
produced. Wines made from purchased grapes are pressed under the "Fleury-Laplace" label.
