Château d'Aydie

The winery is located in the eponymous community of Aydie in the area Madiran in the region Southwest France, It is owned by the Laplace family. The vineyards cover 65 hectares. A special feature are some very old vines from before phylloxera, The Madiran red wine "Frédéric Laplace", named after an ancestor, is cuvéet made from 60% tannate and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. There are also dry and sweet white wines under the AC Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh produced. Wines made from purchased grapes are pressed under the "Fleury-Laplace" label.
