The winery is located in the municipality Pessac-Léognan in the same area in Graves (Bordeaux). The traditional property once belonged to the La Rochefoucauld family, after the Second World War from 1945 to the Swedish Bocken family, from 1974 to 2001 Gérard Gribelin, until it was finally bought by Irish businessman Lochlann Quinn in 2001. The vineyards cover 48 hectares. 39 hectares of which are red wine varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (33%), Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot (together 7%), as well as nine hectares with the white wine varieties Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc (50% each) planted. Only the red wine is classified as "Cru Classé". The durable one Grand Vin is expanded in half new barriques. The second wine is called "L'Abeille de Fieuzal".
