The winery is located in the municipality Pessac-Léognan in the eponymous area in Graves (Bordeaux). The traditional estate once belonged to the La Rochefoucauld family, after the Second World War from 1945 the Swedish Bock family, from 1974 to 2001 Gérard Gribelin, until it was finally bought in 2001 by the Irish businessman Lochlann Quinn. The vineyards cover 48 hectares of vineyards. Of these, 39 hectares are the red wines Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (33%), Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot (together 7%), as well as nine hectares with the white wine varieties Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc (50% each) planted. Only the red wine is classified as "Cru Classé". The durable Grand Vin is being developed in half new oak barrels. The second wine is called "L'Abeille de Fieuzal".
