The winery is located in the commune of La Cadière-d'Azur in the Var department in the very south of the French region of Provence, close to the Mediterranean Sea. It was founded in 1975 by the parents of the current owner, Comte Éric de Saint-Victor, who came from Paris. The vineyards cover 50 hectares of vines on terraced rocky slopes overlooking the Mediterranean. They are planted with the red wine varieties Mourvèdre (Monastrell), Cinsaut and Grenache Noir (Garnacha Tinta), as well as the white wine varieties Clairette and Bourboulenc. The flagship is the long-lasting AOC red wine Bandol made from 95% Mourvèdre, which matures for 18 months in large oak barrels. A rosé made from Mourvèdre and Cinsaut is also produced.
