Château de Tigné

The winery in Tigné is located in the Anjou appellation in the Loire region. It was bought in 1982 by French actor Gérard Dépardieu (born 1948) and is now one of the many celebrity wine estates. Over the years, he expanded it from 25 to 80 hectares of vineyards. Dépardieu has dedicated himself to organic viticulture. Red wines, white wines and sweet wines are produced. Top products are the red wine cuvées "Cyrano" (after a film role played by the actor) and "Mozart". Whenever his time allows, Dépardieu works in the vineyards and in the cellar. In the meantime, the actor also works as a winemaker in the Médoc and Saint-Émilion.
