The winery is headquartered in Kesrouan in the Kfardebian Valley in Lebanon
was founded in 1985 by Dr. Carlos Adem founded. The origin goes back to a distillery that has been family-owned for 300 years. The own vineyards with 20 hectares of vineyards are located at 1,400 to 1,500 meters above sea level near Ehmez. In addition, there are a further 20 leased hectares in the Bekaatal. They are planted with the red varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsaut, Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre and Syrah, as well as with the white varieties Clairette and Ugni Blanc (Trebbiano). The premium wine is the Cuvée Château Fakra (Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache, Cinsaut). Other brands include Blanc Esternel, Château Fakra Cabernet Sauvignon, Cuvée du Temple Rouge, Rosé d'Atargatis, Pinacle de Farka and Fakra Blanc de Blancs. Around 240,000 bottles of wine are produced annually, 40% of which are exported to France, Canada and Russia.
