The estate is located east of Saint-Emilion
in the area of the same name (Bordeaux). The estate, formerly known as Château Petit-Faurie-de-Souchard, was renamed to distinguish it from the neighboring Château Petit-Faurie-de-Soutard. It belongs to the Jabiol-Sciard family. The company is classified as a "Grand Cru Classé", which was last confirmed in 2012. The vineyards cover 12 hectares of vineyards planted with Merlot (65%), Cabernet Franc (26%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (9%). The long-lived red wine is aged in a third of new barriques.
