The winery is located in the municipality Listrac-Médoc
or the same area in Médoc
(Bordeaux). In the Bordeaux Classification
according to the old system, which is no longer valid, it was last classified as "Cru Bourgeois Supérieur" in 2003. It was owned by the Saint-Affrique family until 1972, when it was taken over by the French-Danish-American syndicate. As a result, the winery was renovated. The vineyards cover 47 hectares of vineyards planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Merlot (45%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). The long-lived red wine matures in 33% new barriques.
