Château Gressier Grand-Poujeaux

The winery is located in the municipality Moulis (Moulis-en-Médoc) in the same area in the Médoc (Haut-Médoc, Bordeaux). Until the beginning of the 19th century, the Gressier family owned vineyards called "Grand-Poujeaux". The extensive property was acquired in 1806 by the merchant André Castaing. In 1820 there was an estate division, from which in the episode Château Chasse-Spleen. Château Maucaillou. Château Poujeaux and the present Château Gressier Grand-Poujeaux. It is today owned by Héritiers de Saint-Affrique. The vineyards cover 22 hectares, with Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (30%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Petit Verdot (10%). The long-lived red wine is expanded to 100% new barrels.
