The winery is located 1.5 kilometers southeast of the city Saint-Emilion in the region of the same name in the French wine region Bordeaux, In 1997 it was acquired by the former wholesale chain owner Gérard Perse, who also owned that Chateau Pavie heard (see history there). The vineyards cover 2.5 hectares and are 100% with Merlot planted. The long-lived red wine matures up to 24 months in two years old barriques of the Château Pavie. The grapes have been used in Château Pavie's wine since the 2002 vintage. Before it was dissolved as a separate winery, it was classified as a "Grand Cru Classé".
