The winery is located in Saint-Émilion in the area of the same name (Bordeaux). It is owned by the d'Arfeuille family. The estate is classified as "Grand Cru Classé", which was last confirmed in 2012. The vineyards cover seven hectares of vines with Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%). The long-lived red wine is aged for 15 to 18 months in about one third new barriques. The second wine is called "Menuts de La Serre".
As honorary chairman of the Domäne Wachau, it is the easiest and quickest way for me to access the wein.plus encyclopaedia when I have questions. The certainty of receiving well-founded and up-to-date information here makes it an indispensable guide.
