Château Laroze

The winery is located in the city Saint-Emilion in the same area (Bordeaux). It was founded in 1882 by the Meslin family, who was mentioned here as a winegrower in 1610. The château was built in 1885. Since 1986, the estate is managed by Guy Meslin. The farm is classified as "Grand Cru Classé", which was last confirmed in 2012. The vineyards cover 27 hectares of vineyards with Merlot (68%), Cabernet Franc (26%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (6%). The red wine is aged for 12 to 14 months in 50% new barriques. The second wine is called "Lafleur Laroze".
