Château Paradis Casseuil

The winery is located in the municipality of Casseuil in the Entre-deux-Mers area (Bordeaux). The name is a combination of the cadastral entry for the main vineyard "Vignes du Paradis" and the name of the commune. It used to belong to Château Rieussec and shared its turbulent fate during the 20th century. In 1984, it was acquired together with the château by "Domaines Barons de Rothschild". Château Lafite-Rothschild also belongs to this company of the French branch of the Rothschild family. The vineyards cover 23 hectares of vines with the red wine varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, as well as the white wine varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and Muscadelle.
