The winery is located 1.5 kilometers southeast of Saint-Emilion
in the area of the same name (Bordeaux). The estate used to belong to the Chateau Pavie
(see history there). It was bought in 1997 by the wholesale owner Gérard Perse. The establishment is classified as a "Grand Cru Classé", which was last confirmed in 2012. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vines with the varieties Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). The long-lived red wine is aged for six months in 100% new barriques.
