The winery is located near the municipality of Filiria in the Goumenissa appellation in the Greek region of Macedonia. It was founded in 1994 by Vangelis Chatzivarytis and Olga Iakovidou. The vineyards cover 12 hectares and are planted with the white wine varieties Assyrtiko, Roditis, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer, as well as the red wine varieties Xinomavro, Negoska, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. New varieties are being experimented with on a few hectares. The newly built two-storey winery with an underground wine cellar was completed in 2007 and has a capacity of 100,000 bottles. The vineyards are organically farmed in an environmentally friendly manner. The winery is certified according to ISO 9001 (quality management) and works with the HACCP control system. Red wines, rosé wines and white wines OPAP Goumenissa(quality wines), as well as Topikos Oinos (country wines) are produced.
