Chinato

Italian term (meaning "with Chinese bark") for a wine with bitter flavors, the one with cinchona and various herbs and aufgespritet becomes. Traditionally, such a wine is considered in Italy digestif drinking. Among other things, there are Chinato versions of Barolo, but also in many other wine-growing areas. In German-speaking countries, such wines are considered Bitter Vino designated.
