chitinases

Name (also chitotriosidases) for occurring in many plant and animal organisms as well as in the human organism enzymes with which chitin is broken down or broken down. They are made for pathogen defense and digestion. In plants (like the grapevine ) becomes one resistance against mushrooms achieved by destroying the structure of fungi formed by chitin.
