The white grape variety (also Pirovano 60) is a new breed between Bicane x Pirovano 19 (Regina = Afus Ali x Terre Promise Blanche = Neheleschol ). Piovano 17 x Pirovano 15 was erroneously specified in the breeding list. The cross was made in 1912 at the research center in Rome by the Italian breeder Alberto Pirovano (1884-1973). It was for new breeding aromatica used. Ciclopica is mainly used as table grape used. No stocks were shown in 2010 (Kym Anderson ).
