Clairette Dorée Ganzin

The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Aramon Rupestris Ganzin 60 (Aramon Noir x Rupestris Ganzin) x Bourboulenc. Synonyms are Clairette d'Ore and Clairette Dorée. Genes of Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera are included. The hybrid was crossed in France in 1886 by Henri Bouschet. The variety was a crossing partner in the two new varieties Aurore and Plantet. The vine is used as a rootstock. However, Clairette Dorée is also a synonym for the Bourboulenc variety. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
