Clairette du Languedoc

The appellation is located in the center of the French wine-growing region Languedoc, The vineyards cover around 110 hectares of vines on quartz pebble soils, flint and limestone. They extend over eight municipalities in the department Hérault, The white wine is 100% unmixed out Clairette vinified. There are also versions Rancio (matured three years) and Vin de liqueur (Adding alcohol). Well-known producers are La Clairette d'Adissan, Domaine d'Aubepierre, CV de Cabrières and Château de la Condamine-Bertrand.
