Claverie Coulard

The white grape variety comes from France, It is not allowed to use the independent variety Claverie (Claverie Blanc) can be confused. According to in 2013 DNA analysis it comes from a presumably natural cross between Ardonnet (red) x Crouchen (White). However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see under molecular Genetics ). It is a pure female grape, However, it no longer has any meaning; no stocks were shown in 2010 (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
