The red-berried grape variety originates from Moldova. Some of the around 50 synonyms are Al Zeinel, Coarnă Roza, Hudler, Kecskecsecsu Roszas Piros, Koarne Rochiet, Hudler, Korna Rosie, Pamita, Pis de Chevre, Red Honeysuckle, Tata Caprei Rosie, Violet Blue Honeysuckle and Plum Grape. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2013, it originates from a presumably natural cross between Rosa Menna di Vacca (Parmak Cerven) x Tsitsa Kaprei. However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see molecular genetics). It is an all-female grape variety. The variety is mainly used as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).

The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
