Coda di Pecora

The white grape variety comes from Italy; the name means "sheep's tail". It must not be with the variety Coda di Volpe Bianca be confused with which it was long considered identical. Through 2005 took place DNA analysis the independence was clarified and a relationship with the variety San Pietro detected. It is mainly used in small quantities in the province of Caserta Campania grown where the more neutral white wines are used as blends. In 2010, however, no stock was shown (Kym Anderson ).
