DOC area for white wine in the Italian region Lazio, It is located in the western part of the area Castelli Romani, The area covers about 1,500 hectares of vineyards in the municipalities of Albano Laziale, Ardea, Arricia, Castel Gandolfo (with the existing since 1628 summer residence of the Pope), Lanuvio and Pomezia. Through the area runs the famous Via Appia Antica.

The wine is made from Malvasia Rossa Malvasia Bianca di Candia (max 60%), Trebbiano Toscano. Trebbiano Giallo and Trebbiano di Soave logo CNRS logo INIST Verdicchio Bianco (25-50%), Malvasia puntinata logo CNRS logo INIST Malvasia del Lazio (5-45%), as well as other approved (max 10%) blended. It is matured in secco, abboccato, amabile and dolce, as well as Novello. Superiore and Spumante generated.
