The red grape variety (also New York 9975) originates from the USA. It is a seedless mutation of the Concord variety. It was selected in 1937 at the vine breeding station of Cornell University in New York State. The berries have a muscat tone. The vine is mainly used as table grape. No stock was recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
