In Austria, for example, these are the vineyards Achleiten (Wachau), Hundsleiten (Weinviertel), Sonnleiten (Weinviertel) and Steinleiten (Wachau), as well as in South Tyrol the Bozner Leiten, The term is from Middle High German Leit (or lit) derived for wine.
