Conegliano (grape variety)

The white grape variety (also Dalmasso XIII-11) is according to breeding list entry a new breed between Hárslevelü x Malvasia Trevisana (Malvasia Trevigiana) Malvasia Bianca Lunga ). The father was ex VIVC catalog therefore assumed that "Trevigiana" means "the Trevisan". According to DNA analysis But neither Hárslevelü nor Malvasia Bianca Lunga come into question. The actual parenting is so unknown. The crossing took place at the Istituto Sperimentale per la Viticoltura in Conegliano (Veneto) in 1936 by the Italian breeder Giovanni Dalmasso (1886-1974). In 2010, no stock was reported (Kym Anderson ).
