Coteaux de l'Aubance

The small appellation is an enclave within the area Anjou in the winegrowing region Loire, It is named after the small river Aubance, on the slate-covered slopes of which the vineyards lie. The lovely white wine is made from fully ripe grapes that are harvested in several reading cycles. Sweet wines from noble rot berries are also produced in small quantities. Well-known producers are Domaine de Bablut, Domaine Victor Lebreton and Domaine des Rochelles.
