Courtier Klaus

The estate is located in the municipality Eußenheim (area Maindreieck) in the German wine-growing region Franconia, In 1988 Werner Höfling started self-marketing. A new cellar was put into operation in 2004. Since 2009, the company is run by Klaus Höfling. The vineyards cover 14 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers First (Eußenheim), stone (Stetten), Homburg (Gössenheim) and Kalbenstein (Gambach). They are planted with the white varieties Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Kerner, Gewürztraminer, Scheurebe, Solaris and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as with the red varieties Pinot Noir, Domina, Frühburgunder and Regent. The individual plots are individually in sustainable Farmed way.

The white wines are part of spontaneous fermented, the red wines go through the classic maceration, Premium wines are Domina Stettener Stein (11 months in barrique), the white wine cuvée H Spätlese (Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Gewürztraminer) and the bottle-fermented sparkling wine Pinot brut (Pinot Blanc, Pinot Blanc Blanc de noirs, three years fine leek storage). In weather-appropriate years will also Eiswein vinified. Every year around 100,000 bottles of wine are produced. There are also grapes Pearls (non-alcoholic), brandies and wine jelly produced. The winery is a member of the Franconian Winegrowing Association and the Association Franconian Plant.
