Courtier Klaus

The estate is located in the commune of Eußenheim (Maindreieck area) in the German wine-growing region Franconia, In 1988 Werner Höfling started self-marketing. A new cellar was put into operation in 2004. Klaus Höfling has been running the business since 2009. The vineyards cover 14 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers First (Eußenheim), stone (Stetten), Homburg (Gössenheim) and Kalbenstein (Gambach). They are planted with the white varieties Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Kerner, Gewürztraminer, Scheurebe, Solaris and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as with the red varieties Pinot Noir, dominatrix, early Burgundy and Regent. The white wines become part spontaneous fermented, the red wines go through the classic maceration, Premium wines are Domina Stettener Stein (11 months in barrels), the white wine cuvée H Spätlese (Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Gewürztraminer) and the bottle-fermented sparkling wine Pinot brut (Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir Blanc de noirs, three years of fine lees). In weather-appropriate years, too Eiswein vinified. Around 100,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. There are also grape pearls (alcohol-free), fine brandies and wine jelly produced. The winery is a member of the Franconian Wine Association and the Fränkisches Gewächs association.
