The white grape variety (also Dalmasso 13-11) is a new cross between Hárslevelű x Hárslevelű (Lindenblättriger). The cross was made in 1936 by Giovanni Dalmasso (1886-1974) in Conegliano (Veneto). However, the parentage or the fact of self-pollination only became apparent in 2010 during DNA analyses. In the breeding list, the parents were Hárslevelű x Malvasia Trevisana. In 2016, six hectares of vineyards were identified (Kym Anderson).
