There are two grape varieties with this name:
The red grape variety (also Christina) is a new cross between Chardonnay x Băbească Neagră. The cross was made at the Murfatlar vine breeding station (Romania) by the breeders A. Ionescu and M. Oslobeanu. It is used as a wine grape. However, no stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
The grape variety is an interspecific new variety; however, the parents are not known. The crossing took place in Brazil. It is used as table grape. No stock was recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
