Damascus Black

The red grape variety comes from France, It must not be with the variety Black Morocco (with the synonym Black Damascus). The crossing or selection took place in 1851 France at the vine growing institute Moreau-Robert, It is unclear whether it is a new breed or spontaneous crossing acting; the parentage is unknown. The grape variety is called table grape used.
