The Armagnac house "Francis Darroze SA" in Roquefort was founded in 1973 by Francis Darroze. There are basically no blends, neither from vintages, nor from layers or barrels, every single barrel is bottled unblended. In principle there are only vintage Armagnacs. As a further special feature, aging is extended so long that the mature Armagnac
are ready to drink without the addition of water. The process, which is unusual in the Armagnac area, results in a great variety of products that have the domain and date of bottling on the label.
