Common overseas name for the vine disease eutypiosis; see there.

This disease (also known as Eutypa lata, hardwood rot, dead-arm disease, dead-arm disease) causes death symptoms in numerous fruit species and other woody plants. It has been known for a long time in aprokoses, but was first observed in Australia in the early 1970s, also in vines.
