Decanter Machine

Technical device for the very slow decanting or pouring wine with the purpose, not the depot disturbing. The bottle is clamped with the opening obliquely upwards into the machine and slowly and continuously moved downwards by a hand crank of the bottleneck until it comes to the outflow. Certain wines such as port wine develop an extremely fine depot that is barely recognizable. When pouring, a light source is positioned just behind the bottle shoulder to detect the emergence of the depot, which presents itself as a black line. When the first traces become visible, pouring is stopped. Especially for large format bottles ( Jeroboam with 3 liters and larger), such a device can be very helpful even for the purpose of serving.
