Dellchen

Single location in the municipality Norheim in the German growing area Near, It is a towering cliff directly on the Nahe with in between small hollows (depressions). These are referred to by mouth as "dents" and vernichtlicht "Dellchen", from which derives the name. The south-facing vineyards in 120 to 170 meters above sea level with 50 to 70% slope cover nearly eight hectares of vineyards. They are partly terraced with dry stone walls. The soil consists of weathered volcanic rock (porphyry and melaphyr) with high iron content and stony-gruff clay. There is an excellent water supply. Here are the varieties Riesling and Müller-Thurgau cultured. Shares in the situation have for example the wineries Anheuser Paul. Dönnhoff Hermann. Mathern and Tailor Jakob,
