Diolinoir

The red variety (also Pully 4-42) is a new breed between Rouge de Diolly ( Robin Noir x Pinot Noir, The crossing took place in 1970 by André Jaquinet at the research institute Changins in the Swiss canton of Vaud. The early to mid-season, high-yielding vine is prone to Verrieseln and millerandage but resistant to Botrytis, It produces colorful, reddish-rich red wines with blackberry flavors. The variety is mainly in the canton Wallis (where in brand wine Dole used), but also in the Vaud and Ticino cultivated and occupied in 2010, 112 hectares of vineyards.
