The white grape variety is an interspecific new breed between Bronner x Gamaret, It was named after Celtic Named goddess who was responsible for the sacred source of the city of Burdigala (Bordeaux). The goddess is in a Latin poem by the Roman poet Ausonius (310-395) who lived there. They are genes from Vitis amurensis. Vitis lincecumii. Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid took place in 1997 in Switzerland at the institute in Changins by the breeder Jean-Laurent Spring. Incidentally, the red variety is from the same parents Divico emerged.
