The "Diwald organic winery" is located in the commune of Großriedenthal in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Wagram
, The time-honored, traditional farmhouse dates back to the 13th century. The business was built by Hans Diwald, one of the Austrian bio pioneers, and his wife Paula. Today the company is managed by son Martin Diwald. The vineyards cover 20 hectares of vines, among others in the vineyards of Old Vineyards, Eisenhut, Goldberg
and thief's nest. They are planted with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Chardonnay and Frühroter Veltliner
