The family winery is located in the community Theyern in the Lower Austrian wine region Traisental, The Dockner family has been growing grapes in Theyern for four generations. It is run by Thomas Dockner, actively supported by his wife Silke and his parents Gerhard and Elfriede. The vineyards cover 20 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Hochschopf, Parapluiberg, Pletzengraben and the highest-lying Ried Theyerner mountain at 370 to 410 meters above sea level. They are on many small ones plots and terraced vineyards divided in Traisental. There are 90% of the white wine varieties Green Valtellina. Riesling and Traminer, as well as to 10% the red wines Zweigelt and Pinot Noir cultured. From another three hectares, grapes are purchased from contract growers. The vineyards are very natural and sustained farmed. Between Rows of vines grows a specially composed herbal mixture with many beneficials, By manual foliage care becomes a cheap small climate created in the vine wall itself and by the Compost cycle for healthy and vital vines taken care of. The objective is regional and varietal To produce wines. The wines are stored for a long time on the lees to achieve a characterful and independent style. The layered wines Pletzengraben and Hochschopf are bottled at the earliest after one year. Among the premium wines include Riesling and Grüner Veltliner Traisental DAC (Classic and Reserve) with different vineyard names. It also produces naturally cloudy fruit juices (apple, apple carrot, pear) and spirits (fruit, grapes).
